# MCP:RSV Data

Published on Infostart: <https://infostart.ru/1c/tools/2720241/>
**Free MCP Server for 1C:Enterprise working database** — two directions in one extension:
- **Database data in simple language, without 1C query language.** AI agent (Claude, Cursor, etc.) by regular
request («show warehouse balances», «find counterparty», «how much of such product was sold»)
receives real data from the database — useful for accountant and analyst. Only read, user rights
are observed, personal data is automatically anonymized.
- **Metadata structure of any configuration.** Exact table names, field names and types — convenient context
for developer and their AI agent, so they don't have to invent names.
Works on **any configuration** (UT, ERP, BP, custom), implemented as 1C configuration extension
— does not change the database.
> This is about **data**. If you need **development** in 1C:EDT (code creation and editing, metadata,
> forms, SKD, debugging) — this is a different, **paid** product in RSV line:
> **[MCP:RSV Server](https://prepod2003.github.io/edt-ai-1c/)**.

## Download
The latest release is always available at the same link:
**[releases/latest/download/MCP-RSV-Data.zip](https://github.com/prepod2003/mcp-rsv-data/releases/latest/download/MCP-RSV-Data.zip)**
In the archive:
- `RSVData.cfe` — MCP:RSV Data extension for installation in 1C database;
- `rsvdata-bridge.exe` — bridge program (Windows): connection setup wizard and local
client ↔ database bridge;
- `guide.md` — full user description (same as [`guide.md`](guide.md) in the repository).
All releases are on the [Releases](https://github.com/prepod2003/mcp-rsv-data/releases) tab.

## Quick Start
1. **Install extension in the database.** In 1C:Enterprise: technical specialist functions →
«Configuration extensions management» → «Add» → select `RSVData.cfe` → restart
the program. (Or from Configurator: Configuration → Extensions → load from file → update
database configuration F7.)
2. **Connect AI client** — in two ways:
- **HTTP service** (if the database is published on a web server) — client accesses 1C directly;
`rsvdata-bridge.exe` helps to assemble a ready-made block of settings, but is not required (on Linux/macOS
the block is written manually).
- **Local bridge** (if the database is not published) — `rsvdata-bridge.exe` connects to the database via COM
(Windows + installed 1C platform).
3. Run `rsvdata-bridge.exe`, select the method, specify database and client parameters — the wizard
will check the connection, issue a ready-made block of settings and, if desired, insert it into the client config.
In details (both methods, configuration examples for Claude Code / Cursor / Cline, diagnostics) —
in [`guide.md`](guide.md).

## Tools
`config` (database passport) · `describe` (what is in the database) · `get_structure` (full object structure) ·
`query` (data reading without query language) · `execute_query` (ready 1C query) · `ping` · `help`.
Description of each — in [`guide.md`](guide.md), as well as inside the server itself: `help` without parameters —
overview, `help topic=<tool>` — details.

## What's inside the repository
- [`guide.md`](guide.md) — user description (source of truth).
- [`bridge/`](bridge/) — bridge program sources in Go (`rsvdata-bridge`). Build under Windows:
`cd bridge && go build -o rsvdata-bridge.exe`.
- Extension file `RSVData.cfe` and compiled `rsvdata-bridge.exe` — not in the repository, but in
[release](https://github.com/prepod2003/mcp-rsv-data/releases/latest) (binaries where they belong).

## 🔧 Development in 1C:EDT — MCP:RSV Server (paid)
MCP:RSV Data **reads** data. If you need to **develop** in 1C:EDT — create and edit BSL code,
metadata objects, forms, SKD reports, debug — for this, there is a professional product in RSV line:

By the way: MCP:RSV Data extension **from start to end is created by AI agent using MCP:RSV Server**
— creation of extension and its objects (HTTP service, common modules), writing all code and its
verification through code review. No human programmer wrote a line manually. That is, complex development
in 1C today can be fully carried out by AI (in more detail — P.S. section in [`guide.md`](guide.md)).
