# Dev Assistant MCP
A lightweight MCP server for local developer productivity.

## Tools
### `read_file`
Reads a UTF-8 file from the workspace.
Input:

### `search_files`
Searches project files by file path and text content.

### `run_command`
Runs safe local development commands (`npm`, `npx`, `node`, `pnpm`, `yarn`, `git`, `tsc`, `tsx`).

### `save_note`
Appends a timestamped note to `notes/dev-notes.md`.

## Development
