# Fast-F1 MCP Server
An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that provides Formula 1 data through the [Fast-F1](https://github.com/theOehrly/Fast-F1) Python library. Query race results, lap times, telemetry, tyre strategies, weather, and more — directly from Claude or any MCP client.

Requires [uv](https://docs.astral.sh/uv/) and Python 3.11+.
```bash
git clone https://github.com/warshanks/Fast-F1-mcp.git
cd Fast-F1-mcp
uv sync
```
### Claude Code
Add to `~/.claude/mcp.json` or your project's `.mcp.json`:
```json
{
"mcpServers": {
"fast-f1": {
"command": "uv",
"args": [
"--directory",
"/path/to/Fast-F1-mcp",
"run",
"fast-f1-mcp"
]
}
}
}
```
### Claude Desktop
Add to `~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json` (macOS) or `%APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json` (Windows):
```json
{
"mcpServers": {
"fast-f1": {
"command": "uv",
"args": [
"--directory",
"/path/to/Fast-F1-mcp",
"run",
"fast-f1-mcp"
]
}
}
}
```
