# Plane MCP Server + GitHub Sync
MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for Plane project management and bidirectional GitHub↔Plane synchronization. Part of the ClaudePlane ecosystem.
## Components
### 1. MCP Server (`index.mjs`)
Provides 16 tools for Claude Code to interact with Plane:

| `list_workspaces` | List all workspaces |
| `list_projects` | List projects in a workspace |
| `create_project` | Create a new project |
| `get_project` | Get project details |
| `list_issues` | List issues (with filters) |
| `create_issue` | Create an issue |
| `update_issue` | Update an issue |
| `get_issue` | Get issue details |
| `delete_issue` | Delete an issue |
| `add_comment` | Comment on an issue |
| `list_states` | List workflow states |
| `list_labels` | List labels |
| `create_label` | Create a label |
| `list_cycles` | List cycles (sprints) |
| `create_cycle` | Create a cycle |
| `list_modules` | List modules |
| `list_members` | List workspace members |
### 2. GitHub Webhook Sync (`github-plane-webhook.mjs`)
Listens for GitHub webhooks and mirrors events to Plane:
- **Issues opened** → Creates corresponding Plane issue
- **PR opened/ready** → Creates Plane issue tracking the PR
- **Push events** → Logs commits (extensible to link to issues)
## Setup
### Environment Variables

### Running the MCP Server
```bash
# Via Claude Code MCP config
node /home/ubuntu/plane-mcp-server/index.mjs
# Or add to MCPJungle

### Running the Webhook Sync
```bash
node /home/ubuntu/plane-mcp-server/github-plane-webhook.mjs
```
## Integration with ClaudePlane
This server is designed to work with [ClaudePlane](https://github.com/oogleyskr/ClaudePlane), a fork of Plane with:
- Claude Max OAuth integration (no API key needed)
- Custom LLM endpoint support (vLLM, SGLang, Ollama)
- Updated Claude model list (4.5/4.6 family)
- GitHub repo sync management command
