# pc-control-mcp
A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that gives Claude full PC control on Windows: mouse, keyboard, screenshots, window management, browser automation, notes, and clipboard.
30+ tools across:
- **Mouse and keyboard** — clicks, drags, scrolls, typing, hotkeys
- **Screenshots** — full screen or region capture, JPEG-compressed for AI consumption
- **Window management** — list, focus, minimize, maximize, resize, move
- **Browser** — open URLs in default browser, plus full Playwright automation with multi-session support
- **Notes** — save, list, read, search, delete markdown notes on disk
- **Clipboard** — read and write via PowerShell
- **System** — run shell commands, open apps, wait
## Install
```bash
git clone https://github.com/Nanonite-crypto/pc-control-mcp.git
cd pc-control-mcp
pip install -r requirements.txt
```
For browser automation features, also install Playwright browsers:
```bash
playwright install chromium
```
## Run
As a standalone MCP server (stdio transport):

python server.py
```
## Wire it up to Claude Desktop
Add to `%APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json`:

Restart Claude Desktop. The 30+ tools will appear in the MCP tools panel.

## Safety notes
- `pyautogui.FAILSAFE = True` — move the mouse to the top-left corner to abort the current action
- `run_command` has a 30-second timeout
- Notes are saved as plain markdown in `notes/` next to the server
