## What is it
`marketscore-direct-mcp` is a thin connector to the hosted Direct Manager MCP server. The server, access to Direct API, and all logic run on the service side — this package only connects your AI assistant to it.
Here's how it works:

## What it can do
**77 tools** on top of Direct API v5 and Reports API (76 on Assistant and Pro plans, 77 on Agency plan, including portfolio `accounts_overview`):
- **Analytics and statistics** — campaign metrics by period and slice: devices, gender, age, RSYA placements, geo; search queries; impression share.
- **Inefficient spend detection** — campaigns with ROAS < 1, spend without conversions, extra platforms and keys.
- **Management** — pause/resume, daily and weekly budget, strategies (including conversion-based with goal and target CPA/ROAS), negative keywords, keys, bids, and adjustments.
- **Building campaigns from scratch** — campaign → group → ad with quick links and UTM.
- **AI insights** — spend forecast and conversion prediction for 30 days, drop diagnosis (traffic/CR/CPC), explanation of changes period-over-period with drivers, ranked top findings in rubles, ready weekly brief with one call.
- **Wordstat** — keyword research with frequencies.
- **For agencies** — portfolio overview across all accounts: spend, profit, extra spend, and budget balance for each client in one response.
Actions on recording are marked with separate annotations — the assistant and client see what exactly is changing before applying the edit. Direct API errors are handled correctly, including "silent" ones (when API responds 200, but the edit didn't apply).

## Pricing and access
The connector requires a **Direct Manager** account. Registration includes a **7-day free Pro trial**. Further:
- **Assistant — 990 ₽/mo:** full MCP set (76 tools) for working from chat AI, up to 3 Direct accounts. No web dashboard — only assistant.
- **Pro — 1,990 ₽/mo:** same 76 tools **plus** web dashboard with analytics and autopilot, up to 5 Direct accounts.

## Security
- Authorization — **OAuth 2.1**: Yandex token is not passed to the assistant and does not lie in the client config; it is stored on the service side.
- Changing Direct Manager account password revokes all issued MCP accesses.
- Actions on recording are marked with annotations and confirmed on the MCP client side.
- Personal data is stored on servers in the Russian Federation (152-FZ).
## FAQ
**Is it free?** The first 7 days are (Pro trial on registration); after that, a subscription is required.
**Where does my Yandex token go?** It is issued to the Direct Manager service during OAuth connection and stored on its servers. The assistant and MCP client do not see the token.
**Can the assistant break my ad account?** Write tools are annotated separately, and the MCP client requests confirmation before running them. Campaign pauses and budgets are not touched by autopilot — only on your command.
**Does it work with ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code?** Yes: Claude and ChatGPT connect directly via URL, Cursor/VS Code/Cline/Zed — via this package (`npx -y marketscore-direct-mcp`).
**How does it differ from free MCP wrappers?** Besides API access — a layer of AI insights, audit, dashboard, Telegram bot, and portfolio overview; Yandex token is not stored in config. More details — in the table above.
**Does it work without a subscription?** No — without an active plan, the server exposes zero tools.

OAuth URL is printed to stdout — the browser from the container will not open; go to the link manually. `mcp-remote` tokens live in `~/.mcp-auth` — mount a volume to avoid re-authorization on each launch.
