# 🛒 Coupang MCP Server
This is a [MCP (Model Context Protocol)](https://modelcontextprotocol.io/) server that allows you to query Coupang product information.
Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code Copilot, ChatGPT Desktop, and other AI clients that support MCP can perform natural language searches, price comparisons, inventory checks, and review queries on Coupang products.
## Key Features

| `coupang_search_products` | Search products by keyword (sorted by recommendation, price, sales volume) |
| `coupang_get_price` | Get detailed product price information (discounted price, original price, discount rate, shipping information) |
| `coupang_check_inventory` | Check inventory status, shipping information, and seller information |
| `coupang_get_reviews` | Get product reviews (rating, content, date) |
## How it Works
It accesses the Coupang website through Chrome's [CDP (Chrome DevTools Protocol)](https://chromedevtools.github.io/devtools-protocol/). No API key is required.

## Installation
### 1. Clone and Build the Project

git clone https://github.com/burlesquer/coupang-mcp.git
cd coupang-mcp
npm install
npm run build
```
### 2. Install Playwright
```bash
npx playwright install chromium
```
### 3. Run Chrome in Debugging Mode
The MCP server needs to open a debugging port to connect to Chrome.
**Windows (Win+R or PowerShell):**

```
**macOS:**

> **Important:** Close all existing Chrome instances before running. Specify a separate profile with `--user-data-dir` to avoid conflicts with existing Chrome.

### Claude Code
**Global Registration (available in all projects):**

### Search Sorting Options
| Option | Description |
|------|------|
| `scoreDesc` | Coupang's recommended order (default) |
| `salePriceAsc` | Lowest price order |
| `salePriceDesc` | Highest price order |
| `saleCountDesc` | Sales volume order |

## Limitations
- Chrome must be running in debugging mode (`--remote-debugging-port=9222`)
- Coupang website structure changes may require selector updates
- Excessive requests may result in temporary blocking by Coupang
