# Databricks MCP Proxy for LakeDraw
Thin local proxy that lets Cursor/Claude talk to LakeDraw's remote MCP endpoint using your Databricks OAuth identity.
## Runtime Values
- LakeDraw MCP endpoint: `https://lakedraw-7474654280603666.aws.databricksapps.com/mcp/`
- FEVM workspace host: `https://fevm-lakedraw.cloud.databricks.com`
- Required identity header: `X-MCP-Caller-Email`
- Required session header: `X-MCP-Session-Id`
## Prerequisites
- [`uv`](https://docs.astral.sh/uv/)
- Databricks CLI (`databricks`)
Authenticate once:
```bash
databricks auth login --host https://fevm-lakedraw.cloud.databricks.com
```
## One-command bootstrap (customer laptop)
```bash
mkdir -p "$HOME/.lakedraw-mcp" && curl -fsSL "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jitesh-soni_data/databricks-mcp-proxy/main/mcp_proxy.py" -o "$HOME/.lakedraw-mcp/mcp_proxy.py" && chmod +x "$HOME/.lakedraw-mcp/mcp_proxy.py"
```
## Cursor MCP Config
Add this to `~/.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
"mcpServers": {
"lakedraw": {
"command": "uv",
"args": [
"run",
"/Users/<you>/.lakedraw-mcp/mcp_proxy.py",
"--server-url",
"https://lakedraw-7474654280603666.aws.databricksapps.com/mcp/",
"--host",
"https://fevm-lakedraw.cloud.databricks.com",
"--email-header",
"X-MCP-Caller-Email",
"--session-header",
"X-MCP-Session-Id"
]
}
}
}
```
## Claude Desktop MCP Config
Add the same `mcpServers.lakedraw` block to your Claude Desktop MCP config file.
