# ERPNext Developer MCP
A FastMCP-based Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides developer tools for ERPNext and Frappe.

## Prerequisites
- Python 3.10+
- uv
- Claude Code
## Installation
### 1. Clone the repository
```bash
git clone https://github.com/Ragav05/erpnext-developer-mcp.git
cd erpnext-developer-mcp
```
### 2. Create a virtual environment
```bash
uv venv
source .venv/bin/activate
```
### 3. Install dependencies
```bash
uv sync
```
## Configure Claude Code
This repository contains a `.mcp.json` file.
Open the project in Claude Code and restart it. Claude Code will automatically detect the MCP server and start it.
If you are configuring it manually, add the server with:
```bash
claude mcp add erpnext-developer -- python src/erpnext_developer_mcp/server.py
```
## Verify
Ask Claude:
```
Run health_check
```
Expected output:
```
ERPNext Developer MCP is running successfully!
```
