Let Codex directly read code, write code, design windows, and run programs in Easy Language 5.95.
It is not a mouse script, nor does it modify the `.e` binary format. All IDE operations go through the official Easy Language support library API, and interface data is saved as reviewable UTF-8 `.eui.json`.

## What can it do
- Read and batch modify current Easy Language project code.
- Create a new `windows-ui` project that can run directly.
- Use Codex UI to design windows within Easy Language, supporting drag-and-drop, property editing, and undo/redo.
- Save, default run, stop program; compile finished product only when explicitly required.
- Read compilation output and event tracking, locate syntax errors and unresponsive buttons.
- Provide 222 Rust-implemented Chinese extension commands in a single support library.

## Three-step installation
Prerequisites: Windows 10/11 x64, Easy Language 5.95, Node.js 20+, Codex CLI.
1. Download ZIP from Releases, extract completely, and double-click `安装.bat`.
2. Open Easy Language, in "Tools → Support Library Configuration", select "Codex MCP IDE Bridge Support Library".
3. Restart Easy Language once, then restart Codex or create a new task.
The installation support library requires closing Easy Language once. Daily coding, running, and debugging do not require repeated closing of the IDE.
See [Installation Document](docs/INSTALL.md) for complete steps and non-default installation directory instructions.
## How to use
Describe requirements directly in Codex, for example:
> Create a new windows-ui program in Easy Language, make a file hash tool. Design the interface and write event code first, then run it by default without compiling the finished product.
Common MCP tools:
| Target | Tool |
| --- | --- |
| View connections and active projects | `ide_status`, `project_get_active` |
| Create a new UI project | `project_new`, select `windows-ui` |
| Read and modify code | `code_read_current`, `code_apply_current`, `code_batch` |
| Modify visual interface | `ui_get_document`, `ui_apply_batch`, `ui_sync_code` |
| Save and run | `project_save`, `build_run`, `build_stop` |
| Compile on demand and read errors | `build_compile`, `build_get_diagnostics` |

## Rust extension capabilities
The support library has 223 commands, with 222 being general extension capabilities, divided into 21 categories by Chinese prefix: text, JSON, file, directory, path, system, network, password and key, compression, media, image, etc.
Representative capabilities include SHA-256/BLAKE3, Argon2id, AES-GCM, Ed25519, X25519, JWT, MessagePack, CBOR, Zstandard, QR code, image perceptual hash, SimHash, and snowflake ID. See [Extension Command Instructions](docs/扩展命令-使用说明.md) for the complete list.
## Examples
- [Star Shield Security Toolkit](examples/星盾安全工具箱.e): SHA-256, secure password, and AES key examples.
- [Sound Rhythm Player](examples/声律播放器.e): Media playback and custom interface examples.
The `.eui.json` and `.e` files of the examples are in the same directory. During runtime, MCP will automatically deploy `eui_runtime.dll`.
## Security boundary
- Does not use `SendInput`, coordinate click, or keyboard/mouse simulation.
- Does not inversely call IDE internal functions.
- Does not parse or directly rewrite `.e` binary projects.
- Before project switching, calls the official save interface to avoid "whether to save and close" pop-ups.
- All write tools have revision numbers; expired content will refuse to overwrite.
- Ordinary old projects will not be forcibly injected with UI scaffolding; UI projects please use the `windows-ui` template.
## Known limitations
- Currently targets Easy Language 5.95, single saved active project, and single startup window.
- `code_compact_current` provides read-only preview only, does not execute unreliable batch deletion.
- When the IDE output control cannot be recognized, only compilation success/failure is returned, without automated interface fallback.
## Building from source
Requires Visual Studio x86 C++ Build Tools, Windows SDK, Rust, and `i686-pc-windows-msvc` target.
```powershell
rustup target add i686-pc-windows-msvc
npm.cmd install
npm.cmd run build:all
npm.cmd run test:all
npm.cmd run check
```
